Web Site for the Complex
Franklin Place will have its own web site with individual login access for each unit. The web site will be used for door access control, general condo information/announcements and will provide a link to property management on a 24/7 basis. Ordering services will also be available through HomePrime® Corporation.

Unit Computer
Each unit includes a customized Dell Windows XP computer for door monitoring and access to the building web site, for communication among unit owners and for normal high-speed computer functions. Computer upgrades and further optimization are available directly through HomePrime®.

Door Camera
A web-based camera in each unit will transmit images directly to the unit through the building web site.

Door Entry
Allows for remote lock release for both main door and package drop-off area.

Security Cameras
Cameras with motion sensors will monitor entrances on garage level and first level.

Wired/Wireless Building Intranet
Each floor will have a separate wireless access point providing high-speed wireless Internet service to each unit. Units are prewired with Tech Services to be home network-ready with two CAT-5E cables to be used for telephone, data or audio and a video cable to each living room and bedroom. Unit owners can opt to upgrade the unit’s network by installing a home gateway at the unit’s entrance closet. HomePrime will be available to upgrade and/or customize a unit’s network. Work will be billed on a time and materials basis.

With the support of HomePrime, the development team will customize Unit 101 into a “supported home” in which novel home monitoring systems will be demonstrated and tested in a living environment.
